For years, the thought of wasting his commercial development experience haunted Daunno Development Company owner, Rudolph Daunno Jr. For the first 25 years of his career, he and his two brothers, Chris and Rick, worked under the tutelage of their father Rudy Sr. as well as John and Angelo Cali as an integral part of the second generation of Cali Associates. While there, they managed the construction of nearly two million square feet of Class-A office space. Still, with Rudy’s new custom residential construction company booming and Rick and Chris with other companies, the time just wasn’t right to make the jump back.

Almost overnight, things changed. In the winter of 2008, Chris left his employer and joined the Daunno Team. Within a few weeks, the family decided that it would be a travesty to let their combined experience in countless Commercial projects get lost by focusing solely on residential real estate.

That being said, Daunno Development decided to open a Commercial Contracting Division headed by Chris and backed by the strong reputation of Rudy’s 12 year old Residential Contracting business. This division became third under the umbrella of the Daunno Companies.

Today, the goal of the company’s Commercial Contracting Division is to provide our customers with an experienced construction management team geared towards accommodating their various needs; from large warehouse/office spaces to restaurants, general office, medical facilities, church properties and retail strip malls. Whether it's a simple remodel, a major renovation, or new construction, you want to work with a company that will finish your project on time, within budget, and with superior craftsmanship.

As with all Daunno projects, there will be an associate from our firm with a vested interest in the successful outcome of the project either on site or on call at all times to help answer any questions and take care of any issues that may arise while construction is in process.

For over 50 years the Daunno name has been synonymous with commercial management and development, stemming back to their strong ties with the Cali Family. Going forward, the Daunno’s intend to continue in that tradition.
